Teresa Anne Comber

Teresa Anne Comber nee James, age 66, of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully, Friday, October 18, 2024. Beloved wife of Frank Comber. Loving mother of Lisa (Tyson) Hopkins and Susanna (Joseph Williams) Gala. Cherished grandmother of Raegan Hopkins and Connor Hopkins. Loving daughter of Lila (late Jim) James. Dear sister of Debbie (Stanley) Tomas, William (Maggie) James, and Raymond (late Lori) James. Caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Teresa retired from the Steger Kmart after 20 years as a well-liked Manager, from Comber Construction Company after 10 years as CFO, and she also worked at LARC in Lansing with individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities from 2008 - 2015. She was an active member of St. Liborius Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Teresa will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Visitation to be held Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, Illinois 60475.
