Terese M. Bentle

Terese M. Bentle, nee Rusin, age 88, of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Ronald H. Bentle.  Loving mother of Celine (Raphael) Bess, Sally (Ira) Walsh, Ronnie (Dawn) Bentle, Todd (Joellen) Bentle, Tammy (Daniel) Bentle, and the late infant Michael Scott Bentle.  Cherished grandmother of Amy (Robert Gunn), Joseph, Samuel, Teresa, Jeremy (Caitlin), Jamie (Heath), Jacob, Jayse, Jenna, and Tyler.  Great-grandmother of Niko, Ivory, Joseph Jr., Kristopher, Alexander, Elijah, Samuel Jr., Seth, Antoinio, Eva, and Aubree and great-great grandmother of Jacobian and Karlito.  Dear sister of the late Joan (late Paul) Dacko.   Terese was an avid ice skater back in the day, she also loved sunbathing , shopping (especially for Christmas presents) and loved taking care of dogs.  She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Friday, December 22, 2023 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. South Holland, IL. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Christ our Savior Parish, 900 E. 154th St., South Holland, IL.  Interment Assumption Cemetery – Glenwood, IL.
