Thomas E. Gibson Sr. age 71, passed away March 8, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. Thomas was preceded in death by his dear wife Wanda in 2008. He is survived by 3 daughters, Cynthia (Thomas) Demello, Julie (Scott) Vlach, Kelly (Greg) Mackey and a son Thomas (Jeneane) Gibson Jr. He is also survived by 12 loving Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren, and by his dog Duke. He was preceded in death by his 2 Brothers and a Sister. Visitation Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475. Interment will be at Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery, Monee, IL. Thomas was a member of NHRA and a U.S Army Veteran.
