Thomas F. Lanigan, age 46, late of Thornton, IL, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011. Beloved son of Thomas and Marilyn, nee Russell. Loving brother of Kathleen (Patrick) Getty, Diane (Mitchell Gabel) and Peggy (John Wanzung). Favorite uncle of Patrick, Sean, Michael, Thomas, Jack, Connor and Nora. Fond nephew and cousin of many. Also survived by many caring and dedicated friends. Tommy valiantly fought the good fight against Type 1 diabetes for over thirty years.
