Tofilo Hernandez, age 88, of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully January 17, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Margarita Hernandez. Loving father of Lucinda Rangel, Frances (Jose Mario) Montero, and the late Alicia (Carlos) Garcia. Cherished grandfather of seven; great-grandfather of nine. Tofilo was preceded in death by his parents; Jose and Francisca Garcia-Hernandez and siblings; Blas, Estanislado, Celedonia, Lucas, Virgonia, Carolina and Alejandra. Visitation Monday, January 22, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, Illinois.
