Trina Nicole Pappas, age 22, of Dyer, IN, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024.  Beloved daughter of Paula and James Pappas II. Loving sister of Tristan, Tabitha, Ty, and the late Samantha Pappas. Girlfriend of Cristian Ponce. Dear granddaughter of Maureen (late Jacob) Weber and the late James (late Barbara) Pappas. Cherished niece of Sean (Lori) Weber, Joseph (Sara) Weber, Irene (late Edward) Allen, Anthony (Karen) Pappas, Susan (late Artie) Johnson, Scott (late Jackie) Rhein, and the late George Pappas. Caring dog mom of Russ. Trina is dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Visitation Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Wake service Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Prayer service Monday, February 26, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN, for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass with Rev. Michael Yadron officiating.  Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens – Schererville, IN.
