Veryl J. Bernardy, age 66, late of Dyer, IN, suddenly, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015. Beloved husband of Deborah S. Bernardy, nee Chance. Loving father of Michael (Tammy) Bernardy and Jeff Bernardy. Proud grandpa of Samantha, Hannah, and the late Zachary. Dear brother of Sharon (Ron) Mauro and the late Jerry (Eileen) Bernardy. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Geneva Bernardy. Visitation Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating. Private Cremation.
