Viola H. Van Dam

Viola H. Van Dam, nee Veld, age 105, of South Holland, IL, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Beloved wife of the late William J. Van Dam Sr. Loving mother of Karen (Edwin) Krooswyk, William J. (Gayle) Van Dam Jr., and James (Carolyn) Van Dam. Proud grandmother of Luke (Michelle) Krooswyk, Joel (Amanda) Krooswyk, James (Stephanie Simmons) Van Dam, Victoria Van Dam, and Hunter (Theresa) Van Dam. Great-grandmother of Owen and Olivia Krooswyk and Cornelius Van Dam. Preceded in death by her parents Edward and Jennie Veld. Viola was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at First Reformed Church of South Holland, IL. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to First Reformed Church of South Holland, IL.
