Violet V. Nottingham, nee Delya, age 99, a longtime resident of South Holland who loved being a part of the South Holland community, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Nottingham. Loving mother of Linda Dienema. Cherished grandmother of Jason (Melissa) and Jeffrey (Lisa) Dienema. Great-grandmother of Summer Rose and Jenna Lee. Preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters, and by her parents Victor and Rose Delya. Violet was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Lying in state Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 1500 186th St, Lansing, IL. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL. Memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Veterans of Foreign Wars are greatly appreciated.
