Virginia Gariffa, nee Palumbo, age 100, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Thomas; loving mother of George(Shirley) Gariffa, Margaret (Walter) Murphy, Carole Burrell, and Donna (Scott) Zajic; cherished grandmother of 5, many grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Visitation Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 A.M. with services conducted by Deacon Jim Renwick. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery - Hillside, IL.
