Virginia L. McNamara, nee Schoon, age 82 of Munster,IN formerly of Lansing, IL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 30,2020 in Munster, IN.  Beloved wife of Gary McNamara Sr. Loving mother of Kimberly (Robert) Ballard and Gary McNamara Jr. Dear grandmother of Will Leary, Heather (Fiance Brandon Miller) Ballard, Michelle (Adam) Feige, Kelly Ballard, Emily McNamara, and Jeffrey Ballard and great-grandmother of Caleb Feige. Dear sister of Karen (late Charles) Gist, Donna Maxcy, Judy (Robert ) Rude,  Richard (Debbie) Schoon Jr. and Robert (Cheryl) Schoon. Kind aunt of many nephews and nieces.  Preceded in death by her parents Richard and Kathryn Schoon , and her sister Cheryl Kortenhoven.

Visitation, Thursday November 5, 2020 from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. ( In consideration of others, masks are required ). Funeral services will be held on Friday November 6, at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Church  2740 Indiana Ave. Lansing, Il, with services conducted by Rev. Leroy Childress.
