Virginia Anne "Jinny" Overman nee Hord, age 51, of Cedar Lake, IN, formerly of Dolton, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Lee Overman. Devoted mother of Michael Overman, Joshua Overman, Melissa Rodriguez-Then, and Juanito Rodriguez. Proud grandmother of Michael Overman. Dear sister of Elizabeth Freebird and Robert Hord Jr. Memorial Visitation Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. at the Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311 with services conducted by Pastor John Martinez.
