Virginia M. Roberts, nee Saliek, age 92, of Calumet City, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Floyd Roberts. Loving mother of Karen Vargas, Larry (Stephanie) Roberts Sr., and Dale (Mary) Roberts.  Cherished grandmother of Prudence (Frank) Vulpitta, Denise Fancher, Kelline (Tony) Morris, Larry (Jennifer) Roberts, Jr., Matthew (Colleen) Roberts, Dylan Roberts and Zachary (Briana) Roberts; great-grandmother of Valerie Vulpitta, Mikayla Fuentes, Kassaundra Morris, Kody Morris, Haley Roberts, Chase Roberts, Everly Roberts, Owen Roberts and Henry Roberts. Dear half-sister of the late Leona Luther and late Roman Saliek.  Preceded in death by her parents George and Helen Saliek. Virginia was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN.
