Beloved husband of Dyonne Mertz-Brys, Loving father of Vicky Berglund, Sherry, Randy, Kerry (Melissa) Brys, devoted grandfather of eleven grandchildren. Dearest brother of Julie (Bill) Schell, Mike, William, and Jack (Bonnie) Brys. Walter was preceded in death by two sons: Ricky and Terry.
