Walter H. Dahlman Jr., age 95, of Steger, Illinois, formerly of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6th, 2025. Beloved husband for 75 years of the late June Dahlman nee Van Vuren. Loving father of Linda (late Eric) Moberg, the late Diane (Ray Sr.) Slover, and Karen (late Mark) Kozy. Cherished grandfather of Raymond (Elizabeth) Slover Jr., Susan Slover, Kristen (Bryan) Jinks, and Sharon (Kevin) Lasowski and great-grandfather of Marshall and Addison Slover. Dear brother of the late Jack (late Noella) Dahlman, the late Dick (Arlene) Dahlman, the late Ron (late Paula) Dahlman and Carol (late Larry) Yates. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Walter was a lifelong Cubs fan, loved fishing, and watched just about any type of sport on TV. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
