Walter E. Diment Jr., age 77, of Steger, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann Diment, nee Apking. Loving father of Elizabeth (Johnny) Mattox. Cherished grandfather of Mary and Megan Mattox. Dear brother of Linda (late David) Boyd and the late Wallace Diment. Dear brother-in-law of Mary (late John) Apking, Robert Apking, George Apking, late David Apking, and Linda (Alejandro) Arechiga. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in death by his parents Walter Sr. and Mary Diment. Walter will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
