Walter J. Hoevker, age 78, of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. Loving father to Walter J (Suzette) Hoevker Jr., Tammy (George) Hoevker-Hoff, and Scott (fiancée Isabel Guerra) Hoevker. Cherished grandfather to Sabrina, Tyler, Walter III and Nicholas. Great grandfather to Paxon, Paislee, Greyson and Parklen. Dear brother of Mark Hoevker. Fond godfather of John Stearns. Ex-husband of 47 years to Janet Hoevker. Walter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL 60475 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a funeral service at 7:00 pm.
