Walter L. Kostecki

Walter L. Kostecki, age 82, of Schererville, IN, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2025. Beloved husband of Louise M. Kostecki, nee Oliosi. Loving father of Allen (Margaret) Kostecki and Vince (Alison) Kostecki.  Proud grandfather of Marisa, Allen, Cody, Samantha, and Ryder. Preceded in death by his parents Leo and Josephine Kostecki. He had three sisters not worth mentioning. Walter was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Wally was a loyal employee of Verson All-Steel Press, working as a Lead Press Assembler for almost 40 years until the plant closed.  To pass the time he enjoyed fishing with the family, occasional trips to the Casino, that always included going to the Buffet!  He enjoyed working with his hands and could build or fix anything.  He used those talents to help anyone who needed it.  He always put family first and cherished his time with his grandkids.
