Ralph Warren Meter, age 84, of Orland Park, IL, formerly of South Holland, IL,  went home to his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Beloved husband of Leona Meter, nee Voss.  Loving father of Debra (Doug) Biegel, Lori (Jim) Weesies, David (Laura) Meter, Richard Meter, and Gary (Donna) Meter.  Proud grandfather of 19; great-grandfather of 25. Dear brother of the late Robert (late Jeanette) Meter, late Shirley (late John) Olthoff, late Marilyn (late Robert) Vree, late Sharon (Harry (Barb)) Riddering, and the late James Meter.

Warren was a longtime owner of South Suburban Heating and Air Conditioning.  He loved his Lord and was devoted to his family.  Warren worked hard, played hard, was spontaneous and generous. He loved golfing, playing board games and card games, and watching the Cubs. He enjoyed vacationing around the world, spending winters in Florida, and time with his family. Warren and Leona had many cherished friendships. Warren was proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Friday, August 26, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cottage Grove Christian Reformed Church, 16556 Cottage Grove Ave. South Holland, IL. Visitation also Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Cottage Grove CRC with Pastor Jeff Riddering officiating. Interment Skyline Memorial Park – Monee, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to a Christian School of your choice.
