Wayne A. "Tad" Dudley Jr.

Wayne A. “Tad” Dudley Jr., age 73, of Crown Point formerly of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 10, 2026. Devoted father of Amanda Mae Dudley. Dear brother of Elizabeth “Bits” Petro, Shawn (Larry) Boyer, the late William (Jean) Dudley, and the late Polly (Richard) Bodinet.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Wayne A. and Ethel M. Dudley.  Tad was an avid sailor, loved being on the lake and was a decades long member/supporter of the Cedar Lake Yacht Club. Tad was loved by many and will be deeply missed. 

Memorial gathering Friday, October 23, 2026 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN.
