Wayne Hinton, age 78, of Steger, IL passed away peacefully April 8, 2016. Beloved husband of Diane Hinton nee Wilson. Loving Father of Wayne Edward (Christina) Hinton, Cynthia Hinton-Wilder and Timothy Robert (Ashley) Hinton. Cherished grandfather of Ariel Lyn Hinton, Brent Joseph Hinton, Nicholas Wilder, Emily Wilder, Brandon Lee Pelaquin, Hannah Burdy,MacKenzie Doornbos and Ethan Joel Hinton. Dear brother of Edward (Lee) Hinton and Robert (Cathy) Hinton. Dear son of the late Benjamin and Florence Peglow-Hinton. Wayne was a Korean War veteran serving from 1956-1960. He retired from Mack Truck in Woodridge as a service manager after 30 years of service. Visitation Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, Illinois.
