William Adair, age 74, of Steger, IL. passed away January 23, 2009. Beloved husband of Ann Adair. Loving father of Gina (Louis) Lamannis, Darrin Adair, Kelly (Julianne) Adair, and Heidi (David) Smado-Harris. Loving step-father of James (Tammy), Scott(Ruth), and Charles Montgomery. Cherished grandfather of seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial visitation Wednesday January 28, 2009 from 4:00 " 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 6;30 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger,IL). Interment will be private. William was past Master of the Crete Mason Lodge, Shriners member, Calumet Yacht Club member and past patron of the Crete Eastern Star.
