William G. Bandstra

William G. “Bill” Bandstra, age 74, of Frankfort, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Beloved husband of Patricia Bandstra, nee Miller. Loving stepfather of the late Kimberly Ann Moberg. Dear brother of the late Karen Lubben, late Judy (Steven) Kostowicz, and Joanne (John) Stacey. Kind uncle and cousin to many. Preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Pearl Bandstra. Bill was a semi truck driver for 47 years. He was loved by his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Chapel, 649 E 162nd St, South Holland, IL with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating. Interment Assumption Cemetery—Glenwood, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to South Suburban Humane Society (www.southsuburbanhumane.org).
