William "Bill" Lenting Jr.

William “Bill” Lenting Jr., age 67, of South Holland, Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2019. Loving husband of  Janet, nee DeYoung. Devoted father of  Jonathan and Tiffany (Jeff) Bandstra. Dearest grandfather of Owen and Jackson. Brother-in-law of Jerry (LuAnn) and Jim (Sue) DeYoung. Bill was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn (late Marvin) Davis, and by his brothers Hank (late Marcella) and Adrian Lenting.  Also preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Theresa Lenting.

Visitation for Bill will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Ln., Dyer, IN. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Christian Reformed Church of South Holland, Illinois. Interment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery Lansing, IL. William was a long time volunteer for the South Holland Fire Dept. and an EMT for the Department.
