William Bowman, age 71 of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 7, 2025. Beloved husband of Teresa Bowman. Loving father of Sal and Aldous (Melanie). Cherished grandfather of Christina and Marcos. Dear brother of Robert, Daniel, Jim and Mary. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Patricia; and siblings, Joyce, Diane, Cathy, and Matthew. Willian was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation to be held Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 3-8pm at Smits - Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475. Funeral Mass to be held Friday, September 12, 2025 9:30am at Our Lady of the Heights - St. Agnes Catholic Church, Chicago Heights, IL.
