William "Bill" O. Huizenga, age 74, of Lansing, IL passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Beloved husband of Karen Huizenga nee Drenth. Devoted father of Dale (late Brenda) Huizenga, David (Jodi) Huizenga, Randy (Rae) Huizenga, Steve (Jann) Huizenga, Christy (Josh) Kwasny and Sue (Ryan) Boersma . Proud grandfather of 21. Dear brother of the late Bob (Leanne) Huizenga, John (Janet) Huizenga, and Owen (Sandy) Huizenga. Visitation Friday, August 30, 2013 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Thorn Creek Reformed Church (1875 E. 170th St. South Holland, IL). Funeral service Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Thorn Creek Reformed Church with services conducted by Rev. Tom Archer and Rev. Josh Kwasny. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery - Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Illiana Christian High School (2261 Indiana Ave. Lansing, IL 60473) or Elim Christian Services (13020 S. Central Ave. Palos Heights, IL 60463). Mr. Huizenga was the founder of B&K Equipment Co. in Lansing, IL.
