William (Bill) E. Maylone, age 96, of Dyer, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine E. Maylone. Loving father of Kathy Lynn Kinzel and Bill (Eileen) Maylone. Proud grandfather of Nicolle Lynn Kinzel, Claire and Julia Maylone. Loving son of the late Leonard & Mabel (Shawcroft) Maylone. Loving brother to sisters Doris (the late Joseph) Piszro, the late Marilyn (late Raymond) Wachter and the late Hazel (late Franklin) Mrazek. Kind uncle to many nieces and nephews - Sharon (Gerald) Stack, the late Larry (Kathleen) Piszro, Keith (Kathy) Piszro, Terry (Frances) Wachter, the late Kirk (Mary) Mrazek, Mark (Lynn) Mrazek, Craig Mrazek, Karen (Sigmund) Kil, and the late Bradley (Heather) Wachter. Dear cousin of Marilyn (late Stanley) Muryas. Bill served in the United States Army in World War II, and was a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, with a Mechanical Engineering degree, and was retired from Wisconsin Steel.
