William J Ooms Sr

William Bill Ooms, Sr. age 89, of Lansing, IL passed away on December 22, 2010 at his home. William is survived by his wife Christine (nee Hoekstra), son William J. (Joan) Ooms, Jr. Daughter Caryl (late Peter) Lindemulder and son Kevin (Marilou) Ooms. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Marcia Ooms, Rachel (Jeremy) Oosterhouse, Laura Ooms, Peter (Janelle), Eric, Daniel (Lindsey) and Carla Lindemulder, Julie, Sara and Justin Ooms. 3 great grandchildren: Ava, Chase and Anya Lindemulder. One sister, Gertrude Widmer. He was preceded in death by brothers Harry and John Jay Ooms and sisters Amanda, Kay Embry and Elizabeth Ooms. Visitation will be held on Sunday December 26, 2010 from 3:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane Dyer, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Monday December 27 at 11:00 A.M. at Lynwood United Reformed Church 1990 Glenwood Dyer Rd., Lynwood, IL.
