William O Speir

William O. "Mudflap" Speir, age 78, Sauk Village, IL, passed away November 12, 2013. Loving husband of Carole Speir nee Paolella. Loving father of Billie (late Paul) Waldrum, William Allen Speir, Arnetta (Steve) Stover, Mark (Cori), Timothy (Andrea) Speir and Step-father of Kenneth Finley and Mary Beth Foresta. Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. William is also survived by one brother, two sisters and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, one brother and two sisters. Visitation Saturday, November 16th from 1:00 - 7:00pm at Smits Funeral Homes Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL. Visitation also Tuesday from 9:00 until funeral service 11:00 a.m. at Hardin County Funeral Home - Rosiclare, IL. Interment Dixon-Volkert Cemetery - Rosiclare, IL. William retired from Ford Motor Company Stamping Plant as tool & die maker. He was a member of the Chicago Heights Moose Lodge 828 Legion #33. www.smitsfh.com
