William "Bill" L. Starzyk, age 74, of Dyer, IN, passed away March 14, 2016 following a brave battle with cancer. Formerly of Harvey, IL, he is fondly remembered as longtime proprietor of Ed''s Garden Center. Beloved husband of Marcey L. McCann. Loving brother of Marianne (late Walter) Blumenthal, Kathleen (late Robert) Preston, and Edward (Sharon) Starzyk. Dear uncle of Jacqueline (Kent) Petersen and Brian (Lisa) Czarniecki. Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Genevieve Starzyk. Memorial Mass Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Maria Goretti Church (500 Northgate Dr., Dyer, IN) at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
