William J. Stegenga

William J. Stegenga , age 69, of Crete, IL, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Beloved husband of Candi Stegenga, nee DeLange. Loving father of Scott (Christine) Stegenga and Jennifer (Mike) Chambers. Proud grandfather of Samantha Stegenga, Aaron Stegenga, PFC John Chambers, and Makayla Chambers. Dear brother of Robert (Cheryl) Stegenga, Linda (John) Bumba, and Timothy (Laurel) Stegenga, and Brother-in-law of Cecil (Shirley) DeLange, Robert (Madalyn) DeLange, Don (Betty) Koster, and June (late Herman) Osborne. Loving uncle of numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.  Bill was a retired Deputy Chief of the South Holland Police Department and a United States Army Veteran.
