William D. Townsend age 78 of So. Chicago Heights, Il. passed away on January 11,2011. William is survived by his loving wife, of 52 years, Mary Nee DeGiulio, his loving Daughters Kim (Gary) Ruthenbeck and Denise (Chris) Ruthenbeck. Fond Grandfather of Melissa (Paul) Ruthenbeck-Chairamonte, Aaron Ruthenbeck and Daniel Ruthenbeck. He is also survived by a Sister Sandra (Joseph) Paolini. He was preceded in death by 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters. Visitation for William be held on Friday January 14th. from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Smits funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Il. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Church 15th. St. and Chicago Rd. Chicago Heights, Il. on Saturday January 15th. at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, Il.
