William R. Wentzel, age 72, of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully, November 13, 2019. Beloved husband of Diane Wentzel nee Francis. Loving father of Lisa (Derek) Brix, Jennifer Wentzel, and Elaine (Brian) Hyatte. Cherished grandfather of Mackenzie Brix. Dear brother of Dennis Wentzel. Proud member of the Laborer’s International Union Local 5. William enjoyed spending time outdoors, birdwatching, gardening, and loved his pets. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
