Willie Amos Lewis Jr

Willie Amos Lewis Jr, 81, of Pembroke, IL, has joined our loving Creator at 8:30am, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at home, where he wanted to be. Willie was born September 25, 1939 in Shelby, Mississippi to Lucille Combs and Willie Lewis. Willie leaves behind his 5 loving children who include Di’etra, Toinette (Chicago), Tremayne (Arlington), Willie Jr III (Grand Prairie), and Latoya (Arlington). He also leaves behind his 9 life-long siblings Lucille, Robert, Lue Esther, Anna, Florine Estella, Louise, Vivean, Carolyn and a host of grandkids, cousins, nieces and nephews. Willie’s mother and father preceded him in death.

Known for being a master of many trades. Willie spent the latter half of his life as a military veteran in Kankakee County Illinois. Whether spending time at practicing as an auto mechanic, or in one of his many gardens – Willie was most content when dwelling within his empire.
